About Raquel
My name is Raquel, and my work centers on supporting people through some of life's most meaningful moments.
I am an end-of-life doula, officiant, and minister, offering compassionate presence and thoughtful ceremony during times of transition. Whether I am standing with a couple as they commit their lives to one another, or sitting quietly with a person and their family at the end of life, my role is the same: to hold space with care, respect, and intention.
I believe that life's most sacred moments- beginnings, endings, and everything in between- deserve to be met without rush, judgment, or performance. Each person and family carries their own beliefs, values, and traditions, and my approach is always guided by listening first.
In my work as an end-of-life doul, I provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and their loved ones, helping them navigate the dying process with dignity and clarity. I walk alongside families, offering reassurance, education, and presence during an often overwhelming time.
As an officiant and minister, I create and lead ceremonies that are personal, inclusive, and grounded in meaning. From intimate weddings and elopements to vow renewals and life blessings, I work closely with each couple to ensure their ceremony reflects who they are.
Sacred Moments by Raquel was created to bring these paths together into a single practice. While the moments may look different, the heart of the work remains the same: honoring life, love, and transition with compassion and intention.

Vigil & After-Death
As your end-of-life Death Doula I offer unwavering support during final moments, providing comfort and a calm presence to ensure no one is alone. I also assist families with immediate post-death responsibilities, such as celebration of life funeral service, observing rituals, making notifications, and offering initial grief support, ensuring they handle these sensitive times with grace and care.
PLANNING MATTERS
As your end-of-life Doula I can facilitate open conversations about end-of-life planning and financial matters. I guide individuals and families through advance directives, living wills, and discussions with estate professionals, ensuring all legal and logistical aspects are managed smoothly.
